Victim Of Auto-Pedestrian Crash In Aurora Dies From Injuries

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) – A pedestrian who was struck after two vehicles crashed has died from his injuries.

The accident happened just after 10 p.m. on Jan. 3 at East Quincy and Buckley. Police say a Mazda minivan ran a red light and crashed into a Toyota SUV. The crash caused the minivan to veer into a crosswalk where the man was walking.

The victim has been identified as Rodney Warren, 55, of Aurora.

Neither of the drivers were hurt and both cars stayed on scene, but according to Jeff Turner with Aurora police, charges will soon be filed against the adult female driver of the minivan. Her name hasn't been released.
