Victim Located In Overnight Kidnapping, Suspect At Large

THORNTON, Colo. (CBS4) - Authorities are searching for the suspect in a possible kidnapping case that occurred early Saturday morning in Thornton.

At approximately 2 a.m. there was a struggle between a man and a woman at a Conoco gas station on 120th Avenue near Interstate 25.

Witnesses say the woman was physically dragged out of the store and put in a black Audi four-door sedan with a temporary license plate.

Officers began to chase the suspect car on I-25, but called off the pursuit due to high speeds. Police say the victim and suspect appear to know each other. The woman called the man "Donovan."

At 10:15 a.m. Saturday, Thornton police announced that the victim had been located , and the suspect identified though still at large.

Denver Police blocked off streets around East 47th Avenue and Clark Place, the location where the female victim was found.
