LAFAYETTE, Colo. (CBS4) - The SWAT team, bomb sqaud and a dozen police officers surrounded a home in Lafayette on Wednesday morning after two men broke into the home and started firing.

A woman was inside the home in the 700 block of E. Geneseo with her two children when the men broke in. She told CBS4 that she didn't know the suspects or why they would target her home.

"I heard yelling and there was a policeman out there with a rifle and said, 'Ma'am, you need to get back in the house,'" said one neighbor.

The SWAT team sent in a robot and K-9 officers but found no one inside.

Authorities tracked down one suspect in another jurisdiction where he was arrested.
