Veterans Hope Push-Ups Bring Attention To PTSD

DENVER (CBS4)- Some veterans gathered outside the state Capitol as the 2017 Legislative Session got underway on Wednesday to exercise. Actually, they did push-ups to call attention to PTSD.

The veterans with Veterans for Natural Rights say men and women who have served their country in the U.S. military are more at risk for suicide with an average of 22 suicides a day nationwide.

The group hopes to influence state lawmakers to make PTSD a qualifying condition for medical marijuana.
