Vestas Adding Hundreds Of New Jobs At Brighton & Windsor Plants
BRIGHTON, Colo. (CBS4) - Vestas Wind Systems is hiring hundreds of new employees in Colorado.
The Danish wind turbine company hopes to hire at least 350 new people for two of its plants. One is located in Brighton and the other in Windsor.
Vestas cut about 500 positions in Colorado back in 2012. The company says that was due to the end of a tax credit for wind production businesses in the U.S.
The new jobs are being added in anticipation of new production lines. Vestas hopes to have most of the positions filled by October.
