Vail Introduces New App To Provide Real Time Data On Chairlift Wait Times

VAIL, Colo. (CBS4) - Many skiers and boarders use their phones and apps to check mountain conditions. This winter they'll be able to check lift times as well.

Vail Resorts will be debuting the EpicMix Time feature on their app during the 2015-16 winter season.

Real time data is gathered from those on the mountain to show skiers how long the wait lines are at over 55 different lifts and gondolas. It will also show wait times at the mountain's restaurants and rental shops.

The wait time data will be available at Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, and Keystone.
