Semi-Truck Driver Seriously Hurt In Crash On 6th Ave Near I-25 In Denver

(CBS4) -- A semi-truck driver was seriously hurt in a single-vehicle crash on W 6th Avenue just west of I-25 in Denver during Thursday morning, Denver Police Department confirmed with CBS4. The crash delayed traffic during the morning commute.

According to CDOT, a left lane was closed between Sheridan Boulevard and Highway 88 on 6th Ave eastbound as of 10:30 a.m.

The semi was carrying nails, and there was a great deal of debris that needed to be cleaned from the roadway.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
