Unknown Package Investigated At Air Force Academy

AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (AP) — The Air Force Academy has lifted an evacuation at one of its buildings after emergency responders investigated a suspicious package.

Harmon Hall was cordoned off and workers were told to leave the building Thursday afternoon. The building houses administrative offices, including the superintendent's.

There was no immediate word on what the package contained.

The Colorado Springs Gazette reports the evacuations were lifted after about two hours.

The 28-square-mile campus is just north of Colorado Springs.
