United Airlines nationwide ground stop canceled, Denver passenger says she took it in stride
A United Airlines nationwide ground stop was canceled just before noon -- about 45 minutes after it was first issued.
Federal Aviation Administration confirmed that United Airlines issued a nationwide ground stop for all flights not already in the air just after 11 a.m. Tuesday. All flights were grounded, including dozens at Denver International Airport.
A woman shared a photo of her experience in a plane at Denver's airport during the ground stop. She said everyone on the plane took their 2 hour delay on the tarmac in stride. Passengers were provided with water and cookies.
According to FlightAware, 33 United Airlines flights weree delayed at Denver International Airport as of just before noon.
