Udall, Bennet Launch Renewed Push For Immigration Reform

DENVER (CBS4)- Colorado Senators Mark Udall and Michael Bennet have launched a renewed push for immigration reform.

They urged the House of Representatives to take up a bill that passed the Senate one year ago.

The bill increases border security while providing a path to citizenship for the 11 million illegal immigrants in the country.

Bennet is one of the bill's authors.

"In Colorado we solve problems together regardless of the party we're in and we were able to do that one year ago today because Republicans and Democrats came together to do right for our country and state and a year later it's still the right thing to do but somehow between now and then the House has been unable and unwilling to listen to the American people," said Bennet.
