Man Who Surrendered Malnourished Dog Now Faces Animal Cruelty Charges

WESTMINSTER, Colo. (CBS4) - A former dog owner from Westminster has been charged with animal cruelty and animal neglect.
Police say Tyler Hicks surrendered his boxer named Spartan to a veterinarian last week.
The dog was very malnourished and needed medical attention.
Spartan is being cared for by staff at the vet clinic.
