2 Douglas County Deputies Arrested, Cited
CASTLE ROCK, Colo. (CBS4) - CBS4 has learned that two Douglas County Sheriffs deputies were arrested and criminally cited after an apparent domestic dispute involving a weapon last weekend.
Douglas County and Castle Rock authorities tell CBS4 that Jennifer Leann Davis, 38, and Steven Leon Davis, 48, were issued citations May 7 following an incident May 3.
A spokesperson for the town of Castle Rock said Jennifer Davis was charged with false reporting to authorities and prohibited use of a weapon and Steven Davis was charged with false reporting to authorities.
Both charges are misdemeanors.
The Douglas County Sheriff's department said both deputies have been placed on administrative leave without pay
Sgt. Ron Hanavan with the Douglas County Sheriff's office said no department weapons were involved in the incident.
