Troopers Warn Against DUI On Super Bowl Weekend

DENVER (AP) - The Colorado State Patrol and local law enforcement agencies are warning Super Bowl partygoers to leave the penalties on the field and avoid getting a DUI arrest this weekend.

Authorities say there will be increased enforcement over the weekend, before and after the game on Sunday lasting into Monday morning.

Troopers say nearly 330 impaired driving arrests were made over Super Bowl weekend in Colorado in 2014.

Authorities also want people who want to imbibe during the game to eat plenty of food and take lots of breaks.

Authorities also want you to stop serving alcohol at the end of the third quarter.
