"I've seen some glimpses that he can do a lot of things with his arm, but with his feet, getting outside of the pocket, extending some plays," Plummer said on CBS4's All Access Sunday night. "I'm happy with what he's done so far."

On one play Siemian held his ground and took a big hit after completing a pass.

"This is how you earn the respect of your veterans; the guys who are banging in the trenches," Plummer said. "All of those great things, the intangibles that he has just come naturally to him … I like it."

Plummer said "he's getting coached and doing the right things." And Plummer said as time goes on he's going to get even better, even after missing a sure touchdown pass to Emmanuel Sanders in the red zone.

"Most definitely, most definitely. That's just him having more reps down there and realizing (that in the) red zone, windows get tighter," Plummer said. "He's got the accuracy to do it, so he shouldn't be scared to make that throw."

Plummer said even though the Broncos weren't very efficient in the red zone, Siemian "is going to learn who his playmakers are."
