Trespasser At Broncos Headquarters Said He'd 'Get Elway'

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - A man is facing a trespassing charge after he allegedly came to Broncos headquarters and told a guard who tried to get him to leave that he would "get Elway."

The incident happened on Monday, and no one was harmed, although some pushing took place.

Cordell Robinson Jr. is being charged in the case. He allegedly was first spotted entering a restricted media room.

The guard who worked at the Broncos facility didn't recognize him as a member of the media and asked him to leave. The man refused and told the guard he owned a 20 percent stake in the team and that the team owed him money.

He also then told the guard he would "get him and get Elway," referring to Broncos general manager John Elway.

When the guard told the man to get on the ground, he ran. He wound up getting arrested soon afterwards.

Robinson Jr. faces a second degree trespass charge in the case. A spokeswoman for the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office told CBS4 they don't consider the threat Robinson Jr. made to be a serious one.
