Trash Fire Continues To Smolder 1 Day After It Started

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (CBS4)- The fire continues to smolder at a trash transfer facility in Commerce City nearly 24 hours after it spread from piles of trash to buildings on the facility.

The fire broke out at the Waste Management facility near 60th and Brighton on Thursday afternoon in what was initially thought to be recycling waste.

The facility remained closed on Friday as fire crews continued to put out the fire.
