Train And Semi Truck Collide In Ault, Crude Oil Spills

AULT, Colo. (CBS4) - A Union Pacific Railroad train and a semi truck collided on Thursday morning in Ault. It happened just after 8 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 14 and Highway 85 in the middle of the Weld County town.

The driver of the truck was taken to the hospital and Highway 14 was closed for several hours.

Crude oil began leaking after the crash and hazmat crews were called in to assist with the cleanup efforts.
