Camp ArtReach involves committing to one week of volunteer hours to assist in workshops for children ages six to eight. It does this by providing a variety of services including art-mentoring programs and workshops. The Cherry Creek Arts Festival is a huge annual event featuring thousands of local artists over the Fourth of July weekend. More than 350,000 people attend the festival, with art exhibits, culinary demonstrations, interactive displays and more to enjoy. Of course, the festival depends on the support of more than 1,000 volunteers to make everything run smoothly. There are lots of different needs and opportunities for people with all experience levels. Help is needed with everything from the Art Auction, the Art Lab, Artist Relations, booth sitting, beverage coordination, Creation Station and so much more. You'll get all of the training, a volunteer t-shirt and a meal at the festival for your time. If you love the arts, this is one volunteer experience you definitely want to look into.
