Now that the weather has started to get warmer, the night scene in Denver is picking back up. That means there are lots of people looking for a place to eat for a post-show snack. Whether you've been dancing at a club downtown or you attended a show at the Denver Center or you've been at an event at the Convention Center, there are lots of great spots to visit for some late night eats, many of which are even open 24 hours so you can enjoy some greasy diner fare well into the early morning hours. Here are five of the most popular late night and after-hours spots in the Denver area.

Pete's Kitchen is a staple of late-night eats in the Denver area. You'll find lots of tasty diner food, from burgers and fries to breakfast burritos and Greek favorites with souvlaki and gyros meat. It gets crowded one the bars all close, so plan to wait a bit if you show up after 2:00 a.m. Luckily, Pete's Kitchen is open 24 hours so you won't have to worry about the place closing before you get a seat. Plus, since Pete's Kitchen is located conveniently close to many popular bars and music venues on Colfax, it's always a great place to visit after a show.

Plus, as the oldest bar in Denver, there is a lot of history in the place, so be sure to walk around to check out the décor. If you're checking out a show downtown this is also a convenient spot to visit, as there's usually plenty of parking and it's just far enough off the beaten path to keep it from being overly busy. The spacious patio is also the perfect spot to enjoy a late night bite during the summer, as My Brother's Bar is open until 2:00 a.m.

The Breakfast King is another staple of the late-night scene in Denver. This popular diner is like stepping back in time, with vintage orange booths and a classic diner counter that looks like it came right out of an old movie. You can get all the diner classics here, from biscuits and gravy to pancakes, omelets and more. It's pure comfort food for anyone needing to fill up their belly after a night out on the town. The location isn't very close to that many music venues, but if you're willing to drive a bit away from the bars and clubs, this is a great late-night spot to try.

Luckily, the amazing Euclid Hall is open and serving food until 2:00 a.m. and you'll fall in love with the small plates and incredible dishes. Try the Pad Thai Pig Ears or the deliciously decadent beef marrow bones or Foie Gras. There's even Lamb Pho and an upscale take on chicken and waffles that's one of Euclid's most popular dishes. There are also lots of gluten free options for those that need them. Plus, Euclid is located very close to many of the popular hot spots downtown, including the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, so it's a great spot for a post-show nosh.

If you've spent any time exploring the night scene in Denver, you probably already know the Denver Diner. This perennial favorite recently closed for a remodel, but is open now and another perfect place for 24 hours of eggs, burgers, pancakes, waffles, breakfast burritos and more. It also helps that the Denver Diner is located very close to the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, The Colorado Convention Center and the Bellco Theater, among many other great downtown hot spots, so if you're checking out a show or concert downtown, consider a visit to the Denver Diner for some truly tasty late night diner fare.
