Tim Tebow Homers In First At-Bat

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS4) - On the first pitch of his first at-bat in the instructional league for the Mets, Tim Tebow went yard.

Tebow was batting second against the Cardinals' instructional team when knocked the ball out of the park against left-hander John Kilichowski.

Kilichowski, the Cardinals' 2016 11th-round pick, has given up just one home run in 47 at-bats verse left-handed batters in the minors this season.

"I honestly feel every day I get a little more comfortable," Tebow told MLB.com Tuesday. "Just being able to see live pitches and live at-bats. I think just every approach, every day, all the work we're putting in - we're getting better every day, that's the goal."
