Thornton Police Try To Track Down Serial Robber

THORNTON, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Thornton are trying to track down a serial robber suspected in at least five robberies.

Surveillance pictures show a Hispanic man 18 to 25 years old with a thin mustache.

He is 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9, 160 to 190 pounds. He is considered armed and dangerous.

The suspect is accused of robbing five businesses at gunpoint across the north metro area.

Those businesses include:

Jan. 21: Valero Gas Station at 505 W. 120th Avenue in Northglenn.

Jan. 23: Cold Stone Creamery at 1281 E. 120th Avenue in Thornton.

Jan. 24: Conoco Gas Station at 500 W. 120th Avenue in Westminster.

Jan. 29: Cricket at 1261 E. 84th Avenue in Federal Heights.

Feb. 3: Quiznos Subs at 8426 N. Pearl Street in Thornton.

Anyone with information regarding these crimes or recognizes the suspect in the pictures is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867). If the information you provide leads to the arrest and charging of a wanted individual, you can receive a cash reward up to $2,000.
