Theater Shooting: Lawsuit Expected Against Ammunition Companies

DENVER (CBS4) – There is more legal fallout from the Aurora theater shooting as a lawsuit is expected to be filed Tuesday against ammunition companies.

James Holmes, the man charged in the massacre that killed 12 and wounded 70, received ammunition through package deliveries. A search warrant claimed that he purchased ammunition from bulkammo.com over the Internet.

Now the parents of Jessica Ghawi, who was one of those shot to death, are being joined by the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence in announcing a lawsuit. It's expected to be filed against Lucky Gunner, which does business as bulkammo.com and other bulk ammunition sellers.

A representative bulkammo.com said CBS4 would be called back, but so far the call hasn't been returned.
