The Fray To Perform During AFC Championship Game

DENVER (CBS4)- There are several events leading up to Sunday's AFC Championship Game where the Broncos face off against the Patriots-- one of the most exciting is Colorado's own The Fray will perform at halftime during the game at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.

Broncos fans are encouraged to show their team spirit by wearing orange and arrive early to the game. Kickoff is at 1:01 p.m. Sunday.

The stadium will be filled with orange pom poms in every seat.

Pregame festivities will include the Thunderstorm skydive jump team and a "Go Broncos" cheer led by a Broncos alum. There will also be more than two dozen military members, accompanied by their families, who will be featured in a special "welcome home" event.

The National Anthem will be performed by Leah Shafer of Parker.

The halftime performance will feature Colorado's own The Fray. The locally-based foursome is comprised of Isaac Slade on vocals and piano, Joe King on vocals and guitar, Dave Welsh on guitar and Ben Wysocki on drums.

They formed in 2002 and went on to achieve national success with their 2005 debut album. They won a Grammy in 2010.
