Teenager Killed In I-70 Crash Near Eagle

EAGLE, Colo. (CBS4) - A 17-year-old girl died early Wednesday night in an accident near the Eagle exit on Interstate 70, according to the Colorado State Patrol.

The teenager, identified Thursday as Megan Lodge, was the lone occupant in the one-vehicle accident.

CSP Trooper Gary Cutler said few details were available until investigators relayed them, but it appeared Lodge's Toyota 4Runner crossed from the westbound lanes of traffic into the median and across all the eastbound lanes. It rolled off the highway and Lodge was ejected. She was not wearing a seat belt.

No other vehicles were involved.
