Teenager In Custody After Loaded Gun Found In Backpack

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - Douglas County Sheriff's deputies say a teenager is in custody after a loaded gun was found in their backpack at Chapparal High School.
A school resource officer responded to the school after a security officer noticed the suspicious teenager.
The officer eventually placed the suspect in custody.
CBS4 has learned the suspect is not a current student at the school, and deputies are still not sure why he was there.
