Teenage Vandals Sought After Damaging Camera In Centennial Park

CENTENNIAL, Colo., (CBS4) - Investigators in Centennial are hoping someone will recognize a group of teens who were caught on camera drinking in a park before one of them damaged a camera.

The vandalism happened on Feb. 6 at approximately 2:30 a.m. at Centennial Center Park, which is located at 13050 East Peakview Avenue.

A fireplace and a display case were also damaged at the park, according to the Arapahoe County Sheriff's office.

Surveillance video shows who officials believe is responsible.

In the video it appears the four people involved are young in age and are at first just socializing while drinking soda and liquor. The group notices a surveillance camera recording them and then one of the females starts throwing a rock at the camera -- repeatedly.

The camera's picture becomes blurred after the second or third time the rock strikes it.
