Target: No Plans To Remove 'Obsessive Christmas Disorder' Sweater

DENVER (CBS4) - A sweater that can be found in the aisles of Target stores in Colorado and across the country is drawing some controversy, but the company has no plans to remove it.

The thought is people who suffer from obsessive compulsive disorder might be offended by the sweater for sale, which says OCD -- Obsessive Christmas Disorder.

Target features the item for sale online under the listing "OCD Ugly Christmas ... Sweater."

A company spokesperson told CBSLosAngeles.com that they "currently do not have plans to remove this sweater."

Ugly Christmas sweaters are hot item at this time of year, and last year a shop sprung up in Fort Collins that sells nothing but them.

There are 26 Target stores in the Denver metro area.
