Teen Accused Of Killing Ex-Girlfriend To Be Transferred Back To Larimer County

LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - Mesa County has closed the case against a teen from Berthoud accused of killing his ex-girlfriend after charges have been filed against him in Larimer County.

Tanner Flores, 18, will be transferred to Larimer County to face murder charges in the death of 18-year-old Ashley Doolittle last week. He has allegedly admitted to shooting her twice in the head. He then drove her body from Berthoud to his grandfather's ranch in Collbran.

The two broke up recently. Flores told police he was angry with her.
