Sheriff Bill Masters says the accident happened on Colorado Highway 141 on Slickrock Hill. He said the driver, identified as Bob Westrom, was seriously injured.

Masters says the tanker apparently lost its brakes and went off the roadway, rolling over and spilling the oil.

Masters says the owner of the truck will be responsible for the cleanup.
