Swim Beach At Boulder Reservoir Reopens

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4)- The swim beach at Boulder Reservoir reopened Tuesday after it was closed due to elevated bacteria levels.

The swim area, located at 5565 N. 51st Street, was closed on June 30. The increased levels of bacteria are believed to be the result of runoff.

Reservoir staff continued to monitor and test the water throughout the holiday weekend. Levels were deemed safe for swimming on Tuesday.
