SWAT Team Finds That Reported Hostage Situation In Black Forest Is A Hoax
BLACK FOREST, Colo. (CBS4) - A SWAT team rushed to an El Paso County home following reports of a hostage situation, but the whole thing turned out to be a hoax.
Deputies responded to a home in the Black Forest area Monday morning. They say they got a call reporting that somebody shot a woman and took the rest of the family hostage.
When the SWAT team got to the home the family living there had no idea what was going on.
The sheriff's office says the person who made the call could be charged for false reporting.
