Protesters included veterans groups from the Occupy Movement with some of them wearing bandanas across their faces to a small group of students from Colorado Christian University.

There were also Trump supporters dispersed among the crowds gathered outside.

"We're not here to support Clinton or candidates from either capitalist party. Trump just happens to be the most obnoxious, vulgar representative right now," said protesters Jason Metter.

"I expected it. They've got their choice to say what they want but so do we. That's why I'm here to speak for my rights as an American," said supporter Nancy.

Crowds began to thin by noon as Trump's speech came to an end.

Trump supporters were also found outside the convention center.
