Officers Arrest Suspect After SWAT Deployed To Aurora Apartment
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Aurora and SWAT teams have arrested a wanted man who was hiding inside an apartment with a weapon.
Police tweeted an update on the situation after the man surrendered. A woman inside the apartment was also detained.

SWAT teams surrounded the apartment in the 14400 block of E. Mississippi Avenue just after 4 p.m. Friday. The man inside was believed to have a weapon but it is unclear whether anyone else was inside the apartment.
Gateway High School was placed on lockdown as a precaution around 4 p.m. Police assisted with the release of students and normal operations continue at the school Friday evening.
There were several road closures in the area during the negotiations but all lanes were reopened after the suspect was taken into custody.

No evacuations were ordered in the neighborhood.
The suspect has not been identified.
