Police Say SUV Driver Ran Red Light, Crashed Into Ambulance

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)- An SUV smashed into an ambulance after police say the driver ran a red light. It happened in Aurora early Tuesday.

The ambulance did not have a patient on board and no one inside the emergency vehicle was hurt.

The two people in the SUV that crashed into the ambulance were taken to the hospital and expected to recover.

The SUV driver is expected to be cited in the crash.
