Suspect Sentenced, Another Pleads Guilty In Englewood High Vandalism Case
CENTENNIAL, Colo. (CBS4) - Two of three people authorities say are responsible for causing hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage to Englewood High School had court hearings on Friday.
Vandals broke into the school in January and smashed windows, broke computer lab equipment and set fires.
Michael Trickel, 23, of Englewood, was sentenced on burglary and arson charges. He has already served five months in jail, and he was sentenced to five years of probation and has to pay back more than $200,000 in restitution to the high school and the school district.
Chad Delgadillo, 29, of Englewood, pleaded guilty Friday to burglary and arson. His sentencing was scheduled for Aug. 1.
The third suspect, Anthony Ryan Meany, 26, will be back in court in late August.
