Suspect In Triple Murder Appears In Court

BRIGHTON, Colo. (CBS4)- The hunt for one suspect in a triple murder continues but the other suspect has been arrested and appeared in court on Friday.

Gabriel Flores is being held without bond in the deaths of three people.

In court Flores exhibited strange behavior, at times scowling at the courtroom and mumbling at other times. He did speak up to tell the judge he was never read his Miranda rights when he was arrested.

Authorities across Colorado continue to search for Furmen Lee Leyba, 31, in the deaths.

The bodies of three men were found early Wednesday morning in a home near Broadway and Cragmore, just northeast of the Interstate 25 and Boulder turnpike interchange. Deputies arrived after receiving a call about a disturbance.

The victims' names haven't been released.

So far, the Adams County Sheriff's Office is not saying what may have been the motive in this case.

After a chase in Jefferson County, deputies arrested Flores, 41. He remains in the Adams County Jail, without bond, and faces three counts of first-degree murder in addition to other charges.

He's expected back in court on Tuesday.

A woman was also in Flores' car, but the sheriff's office didn't call her a suspect.
