The crash took place near the intersection of 13th Avenue and Broadway, and the truck's driver then drove off and was involved in another crash soon afterwards -- this time with another vehicle -- near the intersection of 8th Avenue and Acoma Street.

Police announced on Friday afternoon that Estrada-Reyes turned himself in on Thursday night.

A close friend of Pulec told CBS4 she attended the University of Colorado with her a decade ago and that Pulec recently returned to the state to be closer to her family.
