Suspect In Attempted Bank Robbery Quickly Caught

DENVER (CBS4) - Denver police made an arrest shortly after an attempted bank robbery Tuesday morning.

Police say a man went into the U.S. Bank on East Colfax Avenue near Krameria Street and handed the teller a note demanding money and then took fled in a vehicle. Police caught him not too long after the robbery several blocks away.

The suspect ditched some of his clothes on his way out of the bank hoping police wouldn't recognize him.
