Later, she will address students and faculty at Metropolitan State University Of Denver. The university says she will share details of her life story during the sold-out event.

Her tour continues Friday with a fireside-chat style lecture at the University of Colorado Law School as part of its program to bring current and former justices to the Boulder campus.

President Barack Obama nominated the Bronx native to the Supreme Court in 2009.
