Superior House Fire Caused By Children Playing With A Lighter

SUPERIOR, Colo. (CBS4) – Investigators have determined a house fire in Superior on Sunday was caused by children playing with a lighter.

According to the Boulder County Sheriff's Office, investigators from their department and Rocky Mountain Fire conducted a thorough investigation into the cause of the fire.

"The investigation determined that the fire was caused by kids playing with a lighter," the Boulder County Sheriff's Office said in a statement.

The District Attorney's Office will determine if criminal charges could be charged.
