Summit County Sheriff Leaving To Be Silverthorne Police Chief
SILVERTHORNE, Colo. (CBS4)- Summit County Sheriff John Minor is switching departments. He is leaving the sheriff's office to become the Chief of the Silverthorne Police Department.
Minor was selected for the position from a total of 102 applicants.
He has been the Summit County Sheriff since 2004. He will officially become the chief of Silverthorne on May 31.
