Homeowner Cited For Having Salt Block After Moose Gets Stuck In Line

SUMMIT COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - Colorado Parks and Wildlife officials say they cited a homeowner in Summit County for placing a salt block outside their home. That is against the law.
A moose was attracted to the salt block and then became entangled in some line hanging outside the home.
Officers rescued the animal, tranquilized it and set it free.
Last week, a moose was tangled and stuck in a zip line. Our officers tranquilized it and were able to free it. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the homeowner had placed a salt block out to attract wildlife to the home. The owner was cited for violating the law. pic.twitter.com/0xPA7BiIiR
