Summit County Inmate Dies At Hospital After Suicide Attempt
BRECKENRIDGE, Colo. (AP) - A 31-year-old inmate who tried to kill herself in the Summit County Jail has died at a hospital.
Sheriff's officials say Jacqueline Bickford, of Blue River, was found unresponsive in her cell Monday morning. She was taken to a Lakewood hospital in critical condition and died that night.
An autopsy is planned.
At the request of the Summit County sheriff, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation and the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office are looking into the death. No other information was released.
