Study: Denver Unaffordable For Home Renters & Buyers

DENVER (CBS4) - A new study shows Denver is unaffordable for both renters and buyers.

The Mile High City was one of only five metro areas included in the list.

Zillow says the results are not surprising considering Denver had the highest year-over-year home value appreciation.

The study found it's tough for renters as well. They can expect to pay 35 percent of their monthly income on rent. Historically they spent 23 percent.
