Students Released Early At Mountain Vista High After Power Troubles

HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. (CBS4) - Students at Mountain Vista High School were released early Friday afternoon after a power outage.

The school sent a notice to the media saying students would be let out at 12:45 p.m.

Officials with the Douglas County School District provided the following information about the release of students:

Parents may come to the school at 12:45 p.m. to pick up students. Students who walk or drive to school will be allowed to leave campus at that time. Those who ride the bus will be transported to their normal bus stop. Staff will remain at the school until all students have been picked up.
