Student Could Face Charges For Allegedly Punching Teachers In Greeley

GREELEY, Colo. (CBS4) - A teenager in Greeley accused of punching two teachers could face assault charges.

The school district says the 16-year-old boy got angry Monday when a teacher told him to remove his hat. It's against school policy to wear hats at Greeley Central High School.

A district spokeswoman says the teacher removed the boy's hat and the student punched him at least three times. A second teacher tried to intervene and was also hit.

Neither teachers were hurt.

The student has been suspended.
