Strong Wind Gusts Fuel Wildfire Burning In Larimer County
LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- A wildfire burning in the Bobcat Ridge Nature Area in Larimer County was fueled by strong winds on Thursday evening.
The so-called Bobcat Powerline Fire started about one mile southwest of Masonville and Horsetooth Reservoir just after 4 p.m.
Official name of the fire northwest of #Loveland is the Bobcat Powerline Fire. Named due to its location, not due to any known cause.

Fire crews from Loveland Fire estimate the fire at 20-25 acres. Winds were gusting about 60 mph in the area where the fire was burning.
Crews were challenged by difficult access to the fire.
What caused the fire is unknown.
No structures were threatened as of 6:30 p.m.
