Storms Force Hundreds To Sleep At DIA

DENVER (AP) — Hundreds of people spent the night at Denver International Airport after their flights were canceled because of storms in the Midwest and Texas.

Airport spokeswoman Julie Smith said Tuesday that nearly 800 people camped out in the B concourse while others chose to check into hotels. The flights were canceled Monday night.

Smith said airlines are working to get those passengers on other flights.
