Storms Moves East...Now Warm and Dry Weather Returns

DENVER (CBS4) - As promised, the storm system responsible for our cool, wet weather this week has finally moved east of Colorado. In its place sunshine and blue skies with the downtown the high reaching 65 degrees; officially at the airport the high was 63. Clear skies under a full moon tonight with a low in the low to mid 40s.

A strong warm-up begins on Friday: look for plenty of sunshine with a high reaching into the upper 70s. Partly sunny, dry and even warm on Saturday with a high in the low 80s. for Mother's Day - Sunday - partly sunny skies with a high right around 80.

As we begin next week, still warm on Monday - near 80 - under partly sunny skies. Partly sunny and mild Tuesday with a high in the mid 70s and little change on Wednesday. Thursday will bring a chance for scattered showers and cooler temperatures - a high in the mid to upper 60s.
