Still No Match From DNA Results Of Eldora Remains

NEDERLAND, Colo. (CBS4)- Authorities have not found a match after DNA results were returned from human remains found inside a snow boot at a Colorado ski resort.

Investigators did confirm that the DNA results were not a match for Ryder Johnson, a 20-year-old Lafayette man who was reported missing in January and had ties to Eldora Mountain Resort Area.

The size 13 leather, waterproof boot was discovered in a clearing at the base of the mountain June 1 with a severed and decomposed foot inside. No other human remains were found in the area.

The National Institute of Justice's National Missing and Unidentified Persons System or NamUs, is a national centralized repository and resource center for missing persons and unidentified decendent records.

The Boulder County Coroner's Office has created a NamUs case profile on the human remains.
